ATOMIC BARK!

Thursday 3rd March, 7 – 8pm (GMT) on Resonance 104.4FM (www.resonancefm.com) with a podcast to follow

Magnificent Machinations of Metropolis

In regard to the recently restored release of Fritz Langs 1927 science fiction film ‘Metropolis’, we take a refreshed, critical look at this most influential classic of silent cinema, and ask why it has stood the test of time, how such an epic undertaking came about, and what the re-instated scenes add to the overall story. Plus; how does Metropolis compare to the other, less well-known, silent science fiction and fantasy films like Alrune, Aelita and The Lost World?

Hosted by James DC, with guests Hemanth Kissoon, Paul Hines, Birgit Deadly Glamour
